If you ever change your mind, however, unblocking someone on Instagram is just as easy — and only takes a few minutes. Open the Instagram app on your iPhone or Android. You also want to keep in mind that someone you block can obtain a new Instagram account and start to follow your business's profile again. There are other ways for blocked followers to see your posts but without the ability to comment. For example, some websites pull data from Instagram and display it without a login, or a blocked follower can ask someone they know to display your business profile for them.

To add a follower to your Instagram block list, Instagram says you first access the follower's profile page. You get to their profile by tapping their name on a comment, finding them in your list of followers, or searching for their username through the search bar on the Instagram website or app.
