How old is palace playland

Awesome owners and management. Cons Work lots of hours during the summer and cant take time off in the summer. Work experience was fun. I gained more knowledge at the organization and about the organization. My peer assessors guided me throughout work and my work environment was great.

I was treated with respect and my boss was fair. The hardest part of the job was whenever there was a lot of work to do the next day;its like the pressure was coming, however, I have the will power to overcome any obstacles. I am always happy so every part of my job makes me happy.

I will ave some bad days yes but I don't let it get between my work. Your experience matters. Help out others considering your employer. Rate your employer. Every single thing about working at Palace Playland is near perfect. Management is understanding and caring and will go above and beyond to assist the employees who are truly dedicated to the park. They never once had a problem congratulating those that earned it and being there with a firm guiding hand for those that needed more.

My ONLY complaint is that they are sadly only seasonal. Pros Dedicated and passionate staff. Cons Seasonal work only. Jobs at Palace Playland. Maintenance Technician. Claim this company page. Want to know more about working here? Ask a question about working or interviewing at Palace Playland.

We wanted to find an activity for the kids to do at the end of our vacation and decided upon visiting Old Orchard Beach and the Palace Playland.

We only had to walk a few blocks to the Playland. The prices were a little expensive for individual tickets, so we bought the day pass. It was definitely the way to go. My kids range in ages from and they all found rides that they enjoyed, plus there were rides for younger children.

The park wasn't busy at all and we didn't have to wait in any lines. We went from one ride to the next all day long. My youngest spent some of his time in the Arcade, quickly burning through his birthday money. We left around and the park was getting a little busier. For a little break from the afternoon sun, we went to the ice cream shop Big Licks right across the street from the Pirate ride. Huge servings and good ice cream. They are closed until mid June. We were really hoping to go there today since it is so nice out but are unable to. They need to open earlier in the season. Luvmystray New England contributions. Toddlers to teenagers love Palace Playland! Palace Playland is the only ocean front amusement park in New England. The beach is beautiful, kept up very nicely. Great for swimming or just playing in the sand.

The amusement park is small, but the rides are fun and diverse enough to amuse kids from toddlers to teenagers. I took my 6 year old nephew and my 19 year old niece and they both loved it. The pass includes all rides, but not the games. There are fast rides like the roller coaster, the Adrenalin, the pirate ship; and kiddie rides cars, motorcycles, planes.

There is also an arcade. The main street, called Orchard St. We liked the calzones at Roccos and the fried oreos at Deweys. The rides are right close together so there isn't a lot of walking to tire you out. My nephew says he would recommend Palace Playland to all kids and can't wait to come back! First, this place looks the same for years You will able to see fake Elvis 85 year old with walker Kids or teen will like the place for different reasons, but according to me it would need a good relooking!

You will need 4 tickets for 1 ride, 3 tickets for kiddies. Expensive for the place. Trishbrown Connecticut 26 contributions. I grew up coming here Throughout my childhood to present I'm months away from 50! I've seen loads of changes, but the feeling has always been the same I love this beach and the area.

The amusement attractions have come and gone, the pier has gone through many changes as well Lots of great restaurants and nightlife GFB Scottish pub is fantastic!

The rides are always fun Best value in OOB entertainment. First off, when reading other reviews, someone had said that this place had pay bathrooms. With four kids we were actually hesitant to go because of it. They don't have pay bathrooms. Maybe they were confusing it with the pay-as-you-go potty on the pier though.
